ELECTRICAL UTILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTOR

NBM Engineering is seeking an experienced Electrical Utility Compliance Inspector to support utility compliance and contractor oversight programs throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
Acting as a field representative, the Compliance Inspector is responsible for observing and inspecting utility construction activities, monitoring contractor adherence to approved work practices, and documenting compliance with utility standards, client requirements, and safe work procedures.
The role supports utility clients, including Toronto Hydro and other electrical distribution organizations, through field-based inspections, compliance monitoring, quality assurance activities, and contractor performance observations across overhead and underground electrical distribution projects.
This position is ideal for experienced utility field professionals who possess strong knowledge of electrical distribution construction practices and understand the importance of safety, workmanship, accountability, and regulatory compliance.
